Labels
When ordering labels, brown rice is considered as one or two labels?
This would be considered as “one label”. Labels are limited to a maximum of three words per container. IE. Roasted Sesame Seeds (Considered as one label) Red Hot Chili Powder (Considered as two labels)
When you say max three words per label, what do you mean?
We are referring to labels such as Roasted Sesame Seeds, Hot Chili Powder. Lemon & Pepper Seasoning etc. For example, if you order a label with Salt Pepper Sugar, it counts as three labels.
Are the labels dishwasher safe?
These labels are not dishwasher safe and should only be hand-washed.
How can I preview the font?
You can preview your font and color under the shop tab > custom labels
How long will the labels last?
Depending on how well you care for the labels, they can last anywhere from three to five years.
How many fonts are available
Currently, there are 16 different fonts available, and more will be added in the future.
What are your labels made of?
For our labels, we use high-quality semi-permanent vinyl, which is removable and very durable. The vinyl labels don't have a backing and look as if they were painted on.
Can vinyl labels be re-used?
Once vinyl labels have been applied, they cannot be reused.
Are the vinyl labels removable?
Yes, the labels are easily removable. Start from one corner and carefully peel off the vinyl. If the vinyl is resistant, you can heat it up with a hair dryer.
Do you apply the labels to the jars?
As each customer has a preference for where labels should be placed, we do not apply labels to the products. Every order comes with detailed instructions on how to apply the labels.
How do I apply the labels?
A complete set of instructions for applying your vinyl decals will be included with every order.
Step 1: The glass or plastic surface should first be cleaned with rubbing alcohol or soap and water and allowed to dry completely. Do not clean with Windex or other cleaning solutions.
Step 2: This step is important to ensure a seamless transfer of the vinyl. To prepare the vinyl for application, rub a credit card or your finger across the transfer tape ( the transfer tape is the clear tape on top of the vinyl decal). The vinyl should stick to the clear transfer tape. Furthermore, this step will eliminate air bubbles, allowing the vinyl to adhere to the transfer tape.
Step 3: Starting from the top corner, slowly peel away the white backing, revealing the vinyl and leaving the transfer tape in place. If the vinyl is not adhering to the transfer tape, place the design back on the white backing and repeat Step 2. For more stubborn vinyl try lifting the edge of the vinyl with your fingernail. Be careful when doing this to make sure you do not tear the vinyl in the process.
Step 4: Once the backing paper is removed, apply the decal to a clean surface. You can use a credit card or your finger to rub the decal into place. This will remove any air bubbles that may have formed and will help to transfer the vinyl to the surface. For best results, we recommend waiting for 24-hours before moving on to the next step.
Step 5: Gently peel one corner of the clear transfer tape off at an angle starting from the top. Be careful not to pull the label. Patience is the key! If the vinyl starts to lift with the transfer paper, lay it back down and press down on the area again. You can also try lifting the vinyl with your fingernail until the vinyl is affixed to the surface.
What size are the labels?
Due to the custom nature of our business and various font types it’s difficult to determine the exact size of the labels. Depending on the font and product, labels may range from 0.85" to 1" wide and 0.45" to 1" high. Labels ordered together will be the same height (depending on the product type) but will differ in length. See example below. We have meticulously tested each font and product to determine the best size and something that will look tasteful.
